• 10:50 am “ARK — Acts of Random Kindness” for Middle School Students
• 6:00 pm alternate Sundays for Senior High Youth

 

9:30 am from June 17, 2012 through September 2, 2012

• We will meet in July at the Marcellus United Methodist Church
• We will meet in August at the Marcellus First Presbyterian Church

 

COMMUNION

 

First Sunday of the Month except for September when we will have it at our Church Picnic the Sunday after Labor Day.

 

We serve by Intinction a few times a year and our Elders pass the elements through the pews during the other months.

 

ECUMENICAL SERVICES

 

 

The four churches in the Village of Marcellus join together on the following occasions:

• Ash Wednesday service with the imposition of ashes at St. Francis Catholic Church
• Noontime Lenten Luncheons shared by the various churches
• Good Friday service with the seven last words from the cross at Marcellus First Presbyterian Church
• Palm Sunday Processional in the Village with people from all four churches
• National Day of Prayer in front of the United Methodist Church
• Thanksgiving Pot-Luck Supper and Service at the Marcellus United Methodist Church
• Advent Service of Lessons and Carols at St. John’s Episcopal Church
• And on other special occasions

 

Joint services are held in July at the Marcellus United Methodist Church and in August at the Marcellus First Presbyterian Church at 9:30 am. Bill Grossman preaches in July and Pastor Lee Williams preaches in August.
